The session explored how science-backed innovation, investment, and infrastructure can come together to advance semiconductor Singapore and strengthen the country’s position in next-generation microelectronics.

Introducing NSTIC (GaN)’s Research and Infrastructure

The visit began with an overview of NSTIC (GaN)’s full-stack capabilities in Gallium Nitride (GaN) innovation. From materials growth and wafer processing to RF and mmWave device prototyping, the centre supports end-to-end development of GaN technologies.

Discussions highlighted how NSTIC (GaN) translates research into industry-relevant outcomes across sectors such as wireless communications, high-power electronics, and industrial systems. Its goal is to bridge scientific excellence with commercial relevance—supporting Singapore’s ambition to become a global hub for advanced microelectronics and semiconductor Singapore innovation.
